Aragorn's father was assasignated when Aragorn was young and his mother, Gilraen, fled to Rivendell leaving
Aragorn to be raised by Lord Elrond. At the age of 20 he fell in love with the Elven Princess Arwen Evenstar whilst walking in the woods of Imladris. Elrond, however, would not let his daughter marry Aragorn until he become King of
both Gondor and Arnor, the two lands of men so Aragorn left for the wild to become a ranger. He then met Gandolf the Grey
and formed a strong friendship after Gandolf assisted him through many dangers.

He was then sent to meet Frodo in the Prancing Pony in the village of Bree where Frodo mistook him for being in allegiance
with the enemy. He introduced himself to the hobbits as Strider and gave no clue to his history before the hobbits reached
Rivendell. It is here he was revealed as Aragorn, heir to the Throne of Gondor and he offered his sword to Frodo and became
one of the nine members of the Fellowship of the Ring.
After Gandolf fell after the fight with the Balrong in Moria Aragorn took charge and lead the Fellowship till it split
into three parties. Once they had split Aragorn joined Legolas and Gimli to rescue Pippin and Merry from the Urak-hai.
He then travelled over many lands searching for the two hobbits until he met Eomer of Rohan who informed him that he
and his riders has slaughtered the Urak- hai and that they had seen no sight of the hobbits. Aragorn continued his search
until it lead him into Fangorn Forest where he was reunited with Gandolf, now known as Gandolf the White. After assuring the
hobbits were safe Gandolf lead them to Edoras seaking out King Theoden of Rohan. Aragorn then joined forces with
Theoden to fight against the Urak-hai at Helm's Deep, the great fortress of Rohan, winning the battle.

After this battle he rejoiced with the other members of Rohan, persuading Theoden to answer the call of Gondor when it
became under siege. Aragorn then gathered the forces of Rohan and, along with King Theoden, lead them to the encampment at
Dunharrow. It was here that Lord Elrond presented him with Anduril, forged from the pieces of Narsil after the request of
Arwen and told him to head for the mountain to get the army of the dead to fight for him and become who he was born to be.

Aragorn travelled the Paths of the Dead accompanied by Legolas and Gimli, and came to the Kingdom of the Dead where he
asked them to fight for him, promising to hold their oath forfilled in return. They travelled down the river, intecepting
the barges of the orcs to arrive on Pelennar fields where a great number of men had been slain. Aragorn brought victory with
the immortal army who swept throughout the battlefield killing every enemy without chance of death. The White City of Gondor
was won and after Sauron commanded the surviving members of his armies back to Mordor Aragorn headed there, risking his own
life for the life of Sam and Frodo and chance that The Ring would be destroyed.
Aragorn and his army fought at the Black Gates until the Ring was destroyed then, ready and willing he was crowned becoming
the rightful King of Gondor. He married Princess Arwen and lived in the City of Minas Tirith for bringing three children into the world to continue the Legacy.
